ASB hosted its annual Club Rush on the quad during lunch on Aug. 31. Even with temperatures reaching up to 87 degrees, swarms of students attended the event.
Music played as students roamed around the quad, exploring the many clubs that the school has to offer.
“Club Rush really shows you just how much is really happening at our school and allows our student body to engage and get involved,” Club Commissioner Samara Augustine said.
From the Black Student Union to Key Club, new and returning clubs alike set up tables to try and attract new members.
According to members of Science Olympiad, clubs not only give students the chance to indulge in their interests, but can also look good on college applications. New clubs like the Golden Heart club and Environmental club also provide volunteer hours to students.
For those who were unable to join a club, there will be other chances to join throughout the semester.
