Jimmy Xiloj, Graphic Designer
Jimmy Xiloj, a sophomore, is part of The Mirror staff as a first-year graphic designer. In his free time, he enjoys making music as a two-year saxophonist, along with reading comics and watching movies. Coming from a family who plays music, Xiloj serves as the family’s first-ever saxophonist, hoping to create music in the future and improve his skills by practicing many hours a week. His favorite artist is Michael Jackson, though now he’s branching out into more indie artists like Djo. His favorite movie is “Rocky” after being shown it when he was younger by his father and enjoying the movie’s themes and characters. After graduating, he hopes to get into a good college and do well by getting a good career to take care of his family. Taking interest in law, he hopes to become a lawyer when he gets older. He joined journalism for the first time to get a feel and understanding of what it is to be part of journalism and work with a team.
