Damian Martin, a senior, is on the staff of The Mirror, the award-winning student newspaper and website at Van Nuys High School in Los Angeles. He’s always had his eye on journalism, with his wacky and weird personality giving every day a new perspective. Martin spends most of his days out and about looking for new things to do or on the baseball field, practicing to win the next game. He enjoys heavy metal and any alternative metal. His favorite bands are System of a Down and Korn; these bands get him really excited and give him more courage to take on the day. He enjoys tinkering with technology and finding out new things about all kinds of tech. In the future, he plans to pursue his love of law by becoming a lawyer as well as use his love of technology to the next level by becoming an electrical engineer.
