Following a poor streak of being unable to win the first home game of the season, the Wolves have finally returned and managed to captivate the crowd through their impressive defense and strong offense. The Wolves now have three impressive wins under their belt this season, ending tonight with the score of 32-6 as they defeat the Titans.

Nearing the final nine minutes, the Wolves do it again! With a touchdown by running back Abraham Ceja, the Wolves trail 32-6.

As the fourth quarter begins, the Titans make their first touchdown. As the crowd meets them with ‘Boo’s!’, the score is adjusted to 26-6, with the wolves leading by 20.

Quarterback Carlos Herrera completes another touchdown, followed by a successful kick.

Minutes into the third quarter, running back Luis Giron makes a touchdown — bringing the score up to 20-0.

As the second quarter comes to an end, our Wolves are up 13-0 after putting up a strong defense. With a Homecoming proposal during half-time, the energy is high and students are excited for the second half of the game.

As the second quarter begins, the Wolves are leading 6-0 as they return to offense.

Quarterback Carlos Herrera leads the Wolves to their first touchdown from the 40 yard line! Rather than kicking, they attempted to go for a second touchdown, but were unsuccessful.

Kicker Leelen Castro begins the game at 7 p.m. by kicking the ball to the Roybal Titans.

Moments before the game begins, the National Anthem plays as both teams line up ready to face each other at 7 p.m.

Hi everybody! My name is Alyson Cerna and I’m the Sports Editor for The Mirror. In nearly three hours, the Wolves will be facing Roybal High School for their second home game of the season.

Last Friday, the 2-0 Wolves beat Jefferson 42-34.  This week, they aim to defeat the 0-1 Titans to win their third game.
