Over 30 clubs recruit members during campus club rush

Club rush provides a no-commitment exploration of interests

TRUTH MATTERS… Donate to support excellence in student journalism

Providing students with an opportunity to explore and join a variety of clubs on campus, club rush has hit campus once again on Jan. 24, 2025.

During lunch, over 30 clubs set up booths, each eager to pitch their organization and recruit new members. Whether you’re interested in sports, arts, culture, leadership, or academic enrichment, there’s a club for everyone.

Students often spend the lunch period moving from booth to booth– collecting information, talking to club leaders and signing up for activities that match their passions. Many clubs offer incentives like free snacks and stickers to draw interest. Music, decorations and lively conversations created a welcoming atmosphere for new and returning students alike, making it easy for students to connect with like-minded peers.

For those unsure about which clubs to join, Club Rush provides the perfect opportunity to explore different interests without commitment. It’s a day to discover new hobbies, meet new friends and get involved in school life beyond the classroom. Being part of a club can help students develop leadership skills, boost their college applications and create lasting memories.

Whether you’re looking to lead, volunteer, or just have fun, Club Rush is the perfect starting point.
