The girls volleyball team faced off against the Reseda Regents on Wednesday Sept. 6, and suffered a hard-fought 3-1 defeat.
The football team put up a tough fight but were walloped 60-14 by the Hollywood High School Sheiks in a home game on Sept. 4 before the four-day Labor Day weekend. The offensive team meets the stiff Sheik defense as they try to gain yardage.

The girls volleyball team put up a fight in their season opener against Marquez High, but ultimately fell short 3-1. Strong serves and spikes kept several sets close, but the Gladiators pulled away each time.
The Wolves football team lost their first away game of the season to Verdugo Hills, 55-7. Varsity players Abraham Cejas (L) and Hector Gonzalez pose on the quad before practice. The loss is in the past already, Gonzalez said. The only way to keep our head up is just to realize that we have practice on Monday. The team faces Hollywood High in a home game on Aug. 31.
