The Boys Volleyball Team hosted the Canoga Park Hunters for their first league match of the season on Monday, Mar. 5.

“Despite our errors throughout the match, we still cleaned up and pulled through with a win,” said Captain Jacob Lee. “I look forward to the rest of the season.”

Throughout the match, the Van Nuys Wolves maintained a steady lead over their opponent. The Canoga Park Hunters tried to rally back but they were overwhelmed by the heavy hitting of Captain Daron Excel. Despite passing and hitting errors in the second set, Van Nuys was able to pull off a second set victory. In the final set, the Wolves corrected their errors and earned their first victory of the league.

FINAL SCORE: 25-11, 25-17, 25-15.

NEXT GAME: Van Nuys @ Sylmar on Wednesday, Mar. 7 at 4pm.
