A Thrilling Win

GIRLS SOCCER: A late offensive spark lifts Van Nuys to the second round.

The Van Nuys Girls Soccer Team started off their playoff run with a match against Northridge Academy on Friday, Feb. 16.

The Wolves offensively pressured Northridge Academy early on in the game and their stable passing allowed them to generate more shots at the goal. Van Nuys would take full advantage of their offense and defense as they notched two goals and conceded only one. The Wolves managed to earn a spot in the second round of playoffs with this narrow victory.

Final Score: 2-1

NEXT GAME: Van Nuys Huntington Park on Thursday, Feb. 22.
