This past week, the Victoria Secret Runway Show stirred much controversy. Angel Reese, Women’s NBA star, made people question the worth of the Victoria Secret Runway show. The show debuted multiple new runway stars and brought back old ones too. Artists who performed at the runway show included Missy Elliott, Karol G, Madison Beer and the K-pop group TWICE. With the featuring of numerous pop artists, audiences were divided on the authenticity of the show. Even so, the 2025 Victoria’s Secret Show ultimately opened new doors for new models to walk through.
Billie Eilish Assaulted on Tour
Billie Eilish was assaulted in Miami, Florida while performing on her “Hit Me Hard and Soft” tour. On Oct. 9, during her performance of the song “Guess,” she stepped down to greet fans at the barricade, and a man aggressively attempted to drag Billie Eilish into the barricade of fans. Security guards pushed him off, and one fan standing near the assaulter verbally attacked him as he was escorted out. Billie Eilish responded by gifting the fan who defended her with exclusive merchandise.
Pumpkin Starbucks TikTok Trend
A new Tiktok trend has Starbucks workers complaining. In the name of fall spirit, people are bringing hollowed out pumpkins to their local Starbucks for the workers to serve the drinks into the pumpkin. While it might look cute to post online, there are other risks at hand. Sources indicate that drinking from a pumpkin can cause more bacteria to enter your body. It may be better to err on the side of caution and pass on a trend like this.
