The Wolves took an early lead in the first set, but faltered and lost the set 25-17.
In the second set, the Pythons took an early 6-0 lead, but the Wolves came back and ultimately won the set 25-21.
In the third set, the Wolves continued to outmatch the Pythons and won the set 25-17.
Playing a tight fourth set, the Pythons looked to stage a comeback, but ultimately fell to the Wolves, who took the set 25-20 and the game 3-1.
What’s Next | The Wolves plan to extend this streak by facing off against the Kennedy Cougars at home on Friday, Sept. 29.
Word on campus | “The team definitely looks like they’ve put it all together now,” said sophomore Benjamin Rumball. “In every set, they looked confident and were ready to win.”
Our thoughts | The Wolves played a solid game all-around against the Pythons, defeating them in their second matchup of the season. The team’s practice has paid off, earning them three wins in a row. They expect to continue improving and end their season with a winning record.
