Picking the right colleges to apply to can be rough so every school has a brochure giving you details on why their program is the best pick.
The Los Angeles Valley College held its 10th annual College Fest on Saturday, Sept. 14. Attendees were able to learn more about various colleges all throughout the nation, from University of California, California State University, California Community College, to out-of-state schools, and meet with admissions officers. Brochures containing each school’s admission requirements, specialty of studies, and other basic information were available in each booth. LAVC also offered workshops geared towards helping college applicants in their admission process, such as workshops on essay writing or financial aid.
