Kennedy Cougars get Mauled by Van Nuys Wolves

They shoot, they score! The Van Nuys Boys Basketball took on the Kennedy Cougars at the home court on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
The game started out with great energy exuding from both the Van Nuys Wolves and the Kennedy Cougars. However, the Wolves were able to demonstrate their strong defense and resiliency early on in the match, ultimately setting the tone for the rest of the game. With swift movement on the court, the Wolves repeatedly knocked down jumper after jumper. With the Cougars drained on their defense and offense, the Wolves seized the victory.
“I feel like we could’ve expanded the space between the scores, however, we still played well and we always stayed hungry and humble.”
Final Score: 78-52
