Federal Program Monitoring results for VNHS

Van Nuys High School has successfully completed the Federal Program Monitoring review for the 2016-2017 school year, which will lead to the continuation of funding from the Title I program for VNHS. This will continue to enrich the educational programs. The California Department of Education (CDE) has noted the school’s presentations of the instructional program and the implementation of effective teaching strategies. Principal Yolanda Gardea was complimented for her positive influence on the campus and on her help with getting at-risk students reach the achievement standards of the district
