GIRLS VOLLEYBALL: Varsity shines as they bid their seniors farewell; JV sweeps again
In their final home game of the season, Van Nuys welcomed Reseda on Monday, Oct.16.
Van Nuys displayed their power on the service line, as they aced their way to a 25-12. Shaky passing on receive allowed the Wolves to take a commanding lead in the second set. Capped off with several hits from Jackie Buenaventura #2, Van Nuys won 25-13.
Emotions were running high for the seniors at the beginning of the match. Capitalizing on the passing errors, the Wolves cruised to a 25-13 win. Van Nuys would rack up an abundance of aces in the second set, as they served their way to a 25-9 win. In the final set, accurate passing and setting allowed the offense to flow. Creating more attacks from the front line, which led to a 25-16 win.
