SBAC and Block Schedule

For the next two weeks, Van Nuys students will be spending two hours with their teachers every other day. Beginning Tuesday, May 16 Juniors will be taking the Smarter Balance Assessment Consortium (SBAC) test, and will be testing in their history classes only; all other periods will continue on normally. From Tuesdays and Thursdays, periods 1, 3, and 5 will be meeting, while on Wednesdays and Fridays periods 2, 4, and 6 will be meeting. Mondays will be normal schedule for both weeks. SBAC testing and block scheduling will end on Friday May 26.
